The family run vineyards are at the final slopes of the Ligurian Piedmont Appenines. The main grape variety is Timorasso, a part of the Piemontese heritage which is being rediscovered. Post phylloxera Timorasso was largely replaced by Cortese but plantings are on the increase again. This is a high quality grape giving complex full bodied wines with honey, spice, floral and citrus flavours, a nutty and creamy texture and exceptional acidity.
